Yesterday, Blekinge Tekniska Högskola (BTH) hosted BAM – Blekinge Arbetsmarknadsdag, one of the region’s most important meeting points between students and employers. The event was arranged by Blekinge Studentkår and took place at Brinova Arena in Karlskrona. Read more abouth the event here: Blekinge Arbetsmarknadsdag
Uddcomb participated with representatives from both Human resources, Mechanical design and Project management Office. BAM is an annual career fair aimed at connecting BTH’s students with companies and organizations from across Blekinge and beyond. Students from a wide range of educational programs – including IT, software development, industrial economics, sustainability, engineering, and health – had the opportunity to meet potential future employers, discuss career paths, and explore opportunities for internships, thesis projects, and future employment. For participating employers, the event provided a valuable platform to showcase their operations, present career opportunities, and engage directly with highly qualified students. The fair plays an important role in strengthening regional competence supply and fostering long‑term collaboration between academia and industry.
BAM continues to be a key initiative for supporting talent development and ensuring a strong link between education and the labor market in Blekinge. The high level of engagement from both students and exhibitors once again highlighted the importance of close cooperation between higher education and the regional business community. We was really thrilled about the students intense interest in being part of the UDDCOMB family.
