Uddcomb International AB intend to play a vital role in building production capacity related to New Nuclear in partnership with our strong Nordic supply chain.
Uddcombs legacy and experience includes more than 50 years of development, preparation and manufacturing of nuclear graded components.
Uddcomb has served the nuclear market once and are ready to lead again!
Uddcomb International AB shall develop infrastructure to manufacture nuclear components for SMR, LMR and Research Reactors plant vendors for new nuclear. The range is foreseen to cover the main segment of small to medium sized reactors including both advanced reactors and conventional light water reactors.
Initial focus includes the Nordic market, but the ambition is to grow with our customers to also be able to supply to markets outside the Nordic countries.
An industry alliance with core competences and manufacturing capabilities and existing infrastructure is being set up under the lead of Uddcomb. Ambition is to secure as much of supply chain within Sweden/Scandinavia. A close relationship with nuclear plant vendors is needed to secure delivery according to safety, quality, schedule and costs.

Uddcomb shall focus on components and systems in, or closely connected to, the mechanical area of the Nuclear Island.
This is characterized by components with high level of requirements and complexity in highest safety class and in large sizes. This is where our nuclear experience and deep know-how adds value to the engineering, manufacturing and other included processes.
By taking an active part in development, detail design, manufacturing and installation of core components in Nuclear Island, local expertise and experiences are secured for lifetime support for Nuclear Operator and the upcoming 40+ years of operation.
