Heavy corrosion in carbon steel batch digester prior to weld overlay
Corrosion protected digester surface after weld overlay with THE UDDCOMB METHOD.
The customer avoided a costly replacement of the pulp digester and limited down-time of the production assets related to loss of production. No ones knows the life time of a pulp digester refurbished with THE UDDCOMB METHOD. The first batch digester was refurbished 1987 as is still in an "as new" refurbished condition with no signs of wear or tear.
